Finance teams spend a lot of time preparing data, explaining numbers and writing them up for others. AI can take on much of the drafting and first-pass analysis, leaving more time for judgement and advice. This course shows finance professionals how to use it with confidence.
You practise using Copilot in Excel to explore and summarise data, asking AI to explain variances in plain English, drafting management commentary, summarising contracts and long documents, and writing clear emails about numbers for non-finance colleagues. All exercises use made-up figures.
Accuracy matters more in finance than almost anywhere, so the course gives equal weight to checking: tracing AI answers back to the source, spotting when a calculation needs a formula rather than a guess, and keeping financial data secure.
